Bringing forth Life Out of Paper Wu Ching-fang

I have this feeling that our society is losing certain things—things that I owned when I was a child. There's some stuff once so close to our hearts that deserves to be rediscovered. That's why I choose to focus on the 60s, directly going back to my childhood. A lot has yet to be done to shift from 2D to 3D. It occurred to me several years ago that I should do something like 2.5D. Now, building on the original layout, I move my work forward using a perspective technique. Because of the change in layers, the main character in the foreground becomes much larger. This perspective technique is commonly used in painting.Rich in emotion, these paper artworks readily appeal to the sense of nostalgia in each of us. Going beyond the confines of her material, Wu Ching-fang endows paper with an infinite richness of life.
